Christmas in May?

That’s what it was for Bing Crosby today in 1942.

This was the day Mr. Crosby recorded the song “White Christmas”. Sing! “Where the treetops glisten and children listen…”

Bing’s buddy was born today.

Bob Hope was born today in 1903. I might have to pop in a “Road to…” flick tonight,

Maybe my favorite film composer (at least for today) was born today in 1897.

Erich Wolfgang Korngold gave us the thrilling film scores for “The Adventures of Robin Hood”, “The Sea Hawk”, and “Anthony Adverse”.

Drink 4cast 4 2day

I can’t get “White Christmas” outta my mind now. I blame Mr. Crosby completely.

Bada Bing Cocktail

1 oz. Opulent Vodka

1 oz. Cranberry Liqueur

Mix ‘em and shoot ‘em.

Cheers!
