Two Things Great and Small!

First, the great thing;

Today in 1997, the movie “Titanic” opened. It didn’t sink. It went on to become the second-highest grossing film of all time. We’ll let that be our;

Drink 4cast 4 2day

Titanic Cocktail

½ oz. Blue Curacao

½ oz. Galliano

1/3 oz. Dry Vermouth

1 ½ oz. Grays Peak Vodka

Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.

Strain into a cocktail glass

Shout; “I’m king of the world!”

Oh by the way…

Also today in 1606, three ships; the “Susan Constant”, the “Godspeed”, and the “Discovery” departed England carrying the settlers who founded, at Jamestown, Virginia, the first of the 13 colonies that became the United States. Those ships made the trip successfully.

And the small thing?

Robert B. Sherman was born today in 1925. Mr. Sherman wrote the song “It’s a Small World After All”.

Now, try and get that tune out of your head!

Cheers!
