These Belgian-style beers are light in body with a pale yellow or almost white in color.  Belgian Wit beers are generally cloudy from the unfiltered wheat. Crisp, sometimes sweet flavors and spices such as coriander, orange peel, banana, and lemon zest are commonly found in this style of beer. Generally, hops have very little to do with these beers.

Each of these beers are perfect for hot summer days, mowing the yard, or simply sitting and relaxing.  Enjoy these beers with fish or any light meal.

Hoegaarden Pronounced “Who-gar-den”  The Original Belgian White Ale.  A sweet aroma with spicy notes of coriander.  Taste includes hints of apples, bananas, and cloves. Very refreshing.  Brewed in Hoegaarden, Belgium.  4.9% abv.

Wittekerke A crisp, clean belgium wheat beer, light in body and alcohol.  Brewed with lots of malt and wheat.  Hints of lemon-zest. Wittekerke is a small village in Belgium, also means “white church.”.  5% abv.

Ommegang Witte A light, crisp and refreshing pale golden wheat ale.  Flavors of orange, coriander, lemon, spices and wheat.  Brewed in Copperstown, NY.  5.1% abv.

Avery White Rascal An authentic Belgian-style Wheat ale.  An unfiltered, heavily wheated beer, cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.  Brewed in Boulder, CO.  5.6% abv.

Unibroue Blanche de Chambly This crisp medium-bodied Witbier has a soft hop character balanced with a slight fruit flavor from the yeast as well as a touch of orange peel and coriander.  Brewed in Quebec, Canada.  5% abv.
