Sierra Nevada Bigfoot – A very popular beer from the award winning brewers at Sierra Nevada.  A rich malty ale with a fruity aroma and flavor to balance out the sweetness from the malt.  The bitter, piney hop character balances nicely with the caramel malt backbone.  Brewed in Chico, CA.  9.6% abv. Food Pairing:  This Barleywine should be treated like an after dinner drink such as cognac.  Enjoy in a snifter with a sweet dessert.
Flying Dog Imperial Porter – Brewed in honor of the late Hunter S. Thompson.  This Imperial Porter has a nice roasted malt base balanced by a huge hop bitterness.  Flavors of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla give this beer a nice creamy texture with a bitter finish. Brewed in Frederick, MD.  7.8% abv. Food Pairing: Cheese (Brie, Gouda, Havarti, Swiss, Bleu, Comte, Manchego, ), Grilled or Smoked Meats, Any Dessert with Chocolate or Vanilla.
