Let’s Make a Movie!

April 5, 2012

We could make a doozy with today’s birthdays.

-          We could have Robert Bloch (1917) write the screenplay. Mr. Bloch’s novel PSYCHO has been filmed twice and there have been several sequels (one real good one).

-          Roger Corman (1926) could direct. Mr. Corman’s film adaptations of the tales of Edgar Allen Poe were quite gripping to this young movie-goer.

-          Our cast could be stellar; Melvyn Douglas (1901), Spencer Tracy (1900), Gregory Peck (1916), and Bette Davis (1908) were all born today.
